MDE9306AYW Maytag Dryer Blower Wheel

The owner of this Maytag dryer was complaining about how long it was taking to dry a load of clothes.

After I replaced the old plastic dryer vent I removed the front of the dryer to clean the lint out of it. As you can see in the photo the blower wheel had a nice collection of lint on it.

After replacing the dryer vent and cleaning the lint out of the dryer I told the owner that it should work much better now. I instructed the customer to test it out with a few loads of clothes and let me know if it worked better.

A few days later I got a call from the owner of the dryer and they were very happy with it now. They said the dryer was much quicker then it was before I replaced the dryer vent and cleaned it out.
